Your Tee in Action during November

Hey Foundation fam!

Impact Coordinator Lena here just giving you a quick update of your tee in action and what we got up to this month in November 2021.

This month was exciting because Melbourne finally conquered the end of the harsh lockdowns and restrictions, which meant we were able to hang out with people in person to deliver our impact!

Before restrictions were completely off the table, we facilitated a Free The Flag session virtually to JTB studios. This gave us a chance to yarn about how the movement came to be, the vision of Free The Flag and how anyone can get involved! Delivering these sessions online has meant we can reach people we normally wouldn't be able to reach! It also allowed us to play the online interactive quiz kahoot (which is my personal favourite part ;) )

Yay to finally getting out and delivering Trad Games in person once again! We have really missed this. We did try and deliver Trad games online! We made it work but there is honestly nothing better than getting moving together in person and learning about Aboriginal culture :)

In November we hung out with Kindergarten kids and played two of our fave Trad games - Weet Weet and Gorri! The kids had a ball and so did we. We can't wait to continue playing Trad Games with everyone in person!

We also had a chance to hang out on radio with 2ser to share our why and purpose! We shared how we went from delivering health promotion programs in Community to creating merch with a message! We also touched on Free The Flag and the power of creating change. Want to hear the radio interview yourself? click here

And that's a wrap for November! We have some excited things planned for December including our Wellah Together reunion and hanging out on Yorta Yorta Country.
